WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL WORKSHOP.

THIS IS A FALL COLOURS RETREAT IN THE BEAUTIFUL FOOTHILLS OF ALBERTA. WE WILL BE FOCUSING OUR PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE STUNNING ABRAHAM LAKE AREA. THIS AREA IS PROBABLY THE MOST FAMOUS IN THE WINTER FOR THE ICE BUBBLES BUT IN FALL,

IT REALLY DOES SHINE THE BRIGHTEST.

 

IN THIS WORKSHOP WE WILL BE COVERING COMPOSITION AND LIGHT HANDLING TECHNIQUES. THIS AREA IS OUTSIDE OF THE NATIONAL PARK SO WE WILL BE ABLE TO COMBINE TRADITIONAL LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH THIS WORKSHOP.

Note: You must have your own drone and know how to fly it.

ACCOMMODATION

OUR ACCOMMODATION FOR THIS WEEKEND WILL BE AT THE BEAUTIFUL NATURE'S GETAWAY NORDEGG.

THIS BEAUTIFUL CABIN STYLE ACCOMMODATION WILL BE FAMILY STYLE. EVERYONE WILL HAVE THEIR OWN BEDROOMS BUT THE REST OF THE CABIN IS SHARED.

 

WE WILL COOK AND SHARE MEALS TOGETHER.

ON SATURDAY EVENING WE WILL USE THE COOKHOUSE FOR A WONDERFUL DINNER. 

The cabin has a hot tub that you are welcome to use.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations will not be accepted right now due to covid. Rescheduling is encouraged and there is no expiry when a booking needs to be rebooked. 

  • The $500+tax booking deposit is non-refundable.

  • **Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made 14 days AFTER booking date.

  • **Full refunds (minus 15% admin fee) will be given if cancelled within 14 days of booking date.

  • **Cancellations will be accepted 14 days AFTER booking date. After that time refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend we will assist you in selling your spot. If someone is found to replace you, a refund minus 15% administration fee will be issued. If your spot is not filled, no refund will be issued.** Paused due to covid.

  • In the event of severe weather, group photo adventures will not be postponed. You are required to bring appropriate clothing to protect yourself from the elements. A list will be emailed to all participants of each adventure.

  • Administration fee of 15% will not be refunded.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any workshop if our minimum enrollment is not met. In the event we have to cancel a workshop, participants will be given the option to reschedule to a later date. We are not, however, liable for expenses incurred such as airfare or accommodations. We recommend the purchase of trip insurance.

Banff Photo Workshops & Tours does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals who may participate in any of the events planned by the BPW&T.

Your attendance at any event signifies that you have read and accept the terms of this liability waiver. By signing up for any event you understand that you are attending all events AT YOUR OWN RISK.
