Workshop Details

**Price based on 1 photographer** The Icefields Parkway 5 Hour Sunset & Night Sky workshop/photo tour is offered year round and operates during sunset and after last light. We will visit 2-3 locations up on the Icefields Parkway between Lake Louise and Saskatchewan River Crossing. This workshop/photo tour will focus heavily on composition and night sky photography. *Price includes GST*


Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required upon booking. Cancellations will not be accepted. Refunds will not be issued. Rescheduling is encouraged and there is no expiry when a booking needs to be rescheduled. *note: you do not need to know the dates you will be returning* In the event of severe weather, workshops and tours may be postponed without notice if an instructor is unable to attend. In the event we have to cancel a workshop, participants will be given the option to reschedule to a later date. We are not, however, liable for expenses incurred such as airfare or accommodations. We recommend the purchase of trip insurance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Sunrise and Sunset Private Workshop/Photo Tours: 

  • A non photographing friend and/or spouse are welcome to join! 

  • Transportation details: See Below

  • Will operate Rain or Shine. We can still photograph the clouds.

  • These workshop will only be cancelled if there is a weather warning put in place by Environment Canada.

Stars/Night Photography Workshop/Photo Tours:

  • A non photographing friend and/or spouse are welcome to join! 

  • Transportation details: See Below. 

  • These workshops will only be cancelled if there is completely overcast skies with no prediction of clearing.

We are open year round
only closed Dec 24, 25, 26 & 31st as well as Jan 1st and Jan 15 & 16th every year.

Transportation

  • Unfortunately due to covid, transportation may not be provided while on photo workshop/tour.  For those traveling without a rental vehicle, please contact me.

  • Transportation will NOT be provided to Banff National Park or Canmore. Please arrange your own transportation.

  • Please note: If you require transportation, Dani's vehicle is her personal vehicle and is pet friendly. Dani's dog Tuzo attends most workshops/tours. 

Clarifications

  • A non-photographing friend of spouse means that private workshops/tours prices are based on one person, but we do encourage clients to bring their spouse or friends to enjoy the amazing scenery. They are welcome to use their phones or cameras to take photographs themselves but the guiding and teaching will be concentrated on the main photographing client.

  • Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • These workshops/tours are not recommended for children. If a child under the age of 12 are attending, an adult other then the photographing client must be present.

If you join us for an event, please understand that you are responsible for your own preparedness and well-being and will hold no one else liable in case of injury.

This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss and liability. You are responsible to research the event and bring proper gear.

Banff Photo Workshops & Tours does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals who may participate in any of the events planned by the BPW&T.
